Les Freres Guinet

Originally from France, Les Freres Guinet are two contemporary visual artists who create all of their bronze sculptures in their own foundry.

Using a variety of materials, their artistic approach is based on a strong principle: the idea that nature always reclaims its rights in the end.

By incorporating mineral elements – rocks, roots, raw textures – into their creations, they transform man's objects into timeless artefacts, as if frozen in stone.

Each work is a meditation on time, memory and the ephemeral, where matter tells the story of what man wanted to build… and what nature has never ceased to erase.

Perhaps this is the essence of Les Freres Guinet's work: sculptures that question our relationship to time.
