Andrea Roggi (b. 1962, Castiglion Fiorentino, Italy) began exploring painting and poetry in his youth before focusing on sculpture, inspired by Masaccio’s The Trinity in Florence. In 1991, he founded his studio, La Scultura di Andrea Roggi, working primarily in bronze and refining his techniques through the study of chemistry and metallurgy.
His iconic Trees of Life draw inspiration from the ancient cypress and olive trees around his studio, merging human figures with plant forms in a poetic blend of figuration and magical realism. Roggi’s work embodies archetypes and existential reflection, with bronze capturing humanity’s transformation across time, space, and history.
